MENDON — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on charges of sexual assault and aggravated domestic assault following an investigation into domestic violence reported earlier.
Joshua D. McQueen, 35, originally from Alabama and currently residing in Mendon, was issued a citation after the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) conducted a follow-up inquiry to an initial report of domestic violence in the town.
The BCI’s involvement led to the discovery of further evidence, resulting in the additional charge of sexual assault against McQueen.
Both charges stem from crimes committed against an adult female.
McQueen is expected to face these serious allegations in court.
