BRIDPORT — Vermont State Police arrested a local man Monday evening after he allegedly threatened his neighbor with a firearm.
Troopers were called to a residence on Crown Point Road at about 6:18 p.m. following reports of an altercation.
Upon arrival, they found that Travis E. Norris, 26, of Bridport, had threatened to inflict serious bodily harm on Eliud G. Sanchez, 44, also a Bridport resident.
Norris was taken into custody without incident and transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing.
Following processing, he was lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $2,500.00 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Dec. 17, to face charges of aggravated assault.
