WEST SPRINGFIELD — Authorities are appealing for witnesses following a pedestrian accident that left a woman and her 4-year-old daughter critically injured last night.
The West Springfield Police Traffic Bureau is investigating the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Riverdale Street and Daggett Drive around 6:10 p.m.
The two victims are currently in critical but stable condition.
Investigators are urging anyone who was present at the time of the accident to come forward with information.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
