Seekonk woman arrested in Providence as fugitive from justice

PROVIDENCE — Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks arrested a Massachusetts woman on Saturday afternoon as a fugitive from justice on charges stemming from a burglary case.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 14, Jadyn Patterson-Libby, 26, of 1280 Newman Avenue, Seekonk, was taken into custody following a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North in the City of Providence.

Patterson-Libby was wanted for failing to appear in court on the original burglary charge issued by the Seekonk Police Department.

After processing at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, she was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and subsequently transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake Center.

Later the same day, at 6:32 p.m., troopers arrested John Bucci, 27, of 1133 Hartford Avenue Apt. 2, Johnston, on an affidavit arrest warrant related to an attempted larceny charge.

Further details regarding Bucci’s arrest were not immediately available.
