Worcester man arrested in connection with All Comm Credit Bank robbery

WORCESTER — A man was arrested by Worcester Police on Dec. 13 for allegedly robbing the All Comm Credit Bank on Park Avenue at about 4:18 p.m.

Upon responding to the scene, officers were informed of the incident and quickly obtained a description of the suspect.

Utilizing the department’s email system, an image of the suspect was distributed among the force.

An alert officer noticed a man, later identified as 37-year-old Christopher Grannis of Sagamore Road, who matched the clothing and appearance of the individual in the provided photo.

Following an investigation, Grannis was apprehended on Sagamore Road and charged with unarmed robbery.

Further inquiries led detectives to secure a search warrant for Grannis’s residence on Sagamore Road where additional evidence related to the robbery was discovered.

The Worcester Police Department continues to investigate the case.
