CHELSEA — In a decisive move against illegal narcotics in the community, the Chelsea Police Drug Control Unit successfully executed a search warrant at a local residence, resulting in a significant drug bust and an arrest on Monday.
The operation, carried out at 43 Hooper Street, led to the apprehension of Alexander Salgado-Bonilla.
Chelsea police officers confiscated large amounts of cocaine, suboxone, and other illegal drugs during the raid.
Additionally, a substantial sum of U.S. currency, presumed to be proceeds from drug trafficking, was seized.
Salgado-Bonilla was brought before the Chelsea District Court for arraignment yesterday, where he faces various charges pertaining to the possession and distribution of controlled substances.
