GUILFORD — A single-vehicle rollover accident on Coolidge Highway/US-5 resulted in no injuries Thursday morning, according to Vermont State Police.
Richard G. Spencer, 69, of Guilford, was wearing his seatbelt when his 2012 Subaru Outback veered off the road around 8:40 a.m. between Franklin Road and Tyler Hill Road.
Police report that Spencer lost control of the vehicle, which flipped over and came to rest on its roof, blocking the southbound lane.
The Subaru was totaled in the incident, but Spencer emerged unharmed.
The cause of the crash is attributed to Spencer’s failure to maintain his lane, though wet road conditions may have contributed.
Local emergency services, including the Guilford Fire Department and Rescue Inc., responded to the scene.
Brattleboro Towing & Recovery cleared the vehicle, which had obstructed traffic.
State Police continue to investigate the accident.
