BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary that occurred on Nov. 19 in the Dorchester neighborhood.
The incident took place between 1:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Cardinal Medeiros Manor Apartments, located at 11 Woodcliff Street.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who was wearing glasses, a red shirt, black pants, and had a lanyard around his neck at the time of the burglary.
Notably, he has a tattoo on his right arm and was carrying a brown backpack.
According to authorities, the suspect entered an apartment within the elderly housing community and deceived the resident into handing over financial documents.
Several personal items and credit cards were stolen.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances of the burglary and urges anyone with information to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
The department assures that the identities of individuals providing anonymous tips will be protected.
