DUMMERSTON — Vermont State Police arrested two Massachusetts residents Monday morning following a reported burglary on Dummerston Station Road.
Ryan Adams, 40, and Meghan Wheeler, 37, both from Greenfield, MA, were taken into custody after troopers responded to the incident.
The initial report of the burglary was received by the police on Dec. 9, and upon investigating the property on Dec. 10, Adams and Wheeler were discovered at the residence.
During the processing at the Westminster Barracks, Adams faced additional charges for possession of crack-cocaine, while both he and Wheeler were charged with burglary, unlawful trespass, and unlawful mischief.
Following their arrest, the pair were held on $25,000 bail each and taken to Southern State Correctional Facility.
Adams and Wheeler are scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m. to answer the charges.
