HAMDEN — The Hamden Police Department has officially declared Stephen Morin, a local resident, as a missing person following his uncharacteristic disappearance earlier this week.
Morin was last seen on Monday around 9 p.m. after leaving his girlfriend’s house in Hamden.
He was believed to be en route to his home in Meriden but never arrived.
Concerns were raised when Morin, who is known to maintain regular contact, did not reach out to family or friends and his phone went off since Monday night.
He was driving a 2015 black Mercedes-Benz E350 with tinted windows, bearing the license plate BK09826.
Late on Monday, traffic cameras captured the vehicle in Southington, but there have been no subsequent sightings.
Amy Morin, Stephen’s sister, has issued a public plea for assistance, urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Hamden Police Department.
The family, deeply worried by this atypical behavior, is asking the community to keep an eye out for Stephen or his car.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Stephen Morin’s whereabouts to immediately contact the Hamden Police Department.
The ongoing search involves multiple jurisdictions as the last known location of Morin’s car has broadened the scope of the investigation.
