ST. JOHNSBURY — A four-vehicle collision at the intersection of Pearl and Railroad Streets led to the arrest of a local woman on suspicion of DUI, police said.
The St. Johnsbury Police Department reported that they were called to the scene at approximately 8:07 p.m. on Dec. 6.
Initial reports indicated a two-vehicle crash, but officers arriving at the location found that four vehicles had been involved.
During the investigation, officers determined that 24-year-old Paris Crown had struck another vehicle, leading to a subsequent collision involving two more cars.
Crown appeared to be impaired and was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
After processing at the police department, Crown was transported to the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility (NERCF) for detoxification.
She is scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 30 at 8:30 a.m. in the Caledonia Superior Court.
The St. Johnsbury Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
No further details on the condition of the other involved parties or the extent of the damages have been released at this time.
