SPRINGFIELD — A local resident was arrested early Saturday morning on allegations of domestic assault following a police response to a North Springfield residence.
Springfield Police Department officers were dispatched at about 8:31 a.m. to a home on Olney Road after receiving reports of an assault.
The investigation led to the arrest of 29-year-old Tayler Duncan of Springfield.
According to the police, Duncan was taken into custody at 9:08 a.m. without any complications.
Following the arrest, Duncan was processed at the Springfield Police Department.
Duncan has been ordered to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on Nov. 25 to respond to the domestic assault charge.
The defendant was placed at the Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash or surety.
