WINCHENDON — In a coordinated early morning operation on Dec. 6, Winchendon Police and the North Worcester County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a Maple Street residence, seizing drugs, ammunition, and drug distribution paraphernalia.
The search at 280 Maple St. led to the discovery of approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine, various unlawfully possessed prescription drugs, .45 caliber ammunition, and numerous items indicative of the sale and distribution of street drugs.
Shawn Kilfoyle, 37, and Brittany Straus, 34, identified as the primary suspects of the investigation, were arrested at the scene.
Both are facing charges of possession with intent to distribute class B drugs, specifically crack cocaine, and possession of class E drugs, pertaining to the prescription medications found.
Kilfoyle faces an additional charge for the possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification Card (FID).
Following the arrests, both individuals were arraigned at Winchendon District Court.
Detective Caleb Similia of the Winchendon Police Department is the lead investigator on the case, with Lt. Kevin Wolski providing support in the ongoing investigation.
