BOSTON — Boston Police arrested a man Thursday morning in Roxbury on multiple charges, including breaking and entering and drug possession.

At about 6:25 a.m., officers from District B-2 responded to a report of a break-in at 13 Shetland Street, an address known to them for previous burglary incidents.

A detective had recently issued a BRIC flyer identifying a suspect for a break-in at the same location.

Upon clearing the building, officers found an open door on the third floor.

Inside, they encountered Teodorica Baptista, 32, of Dorchester, who matched the description on the flyer.

Baptista was arrested and charged with breaking and entering nighttime for felony and possession of Class A drugs.

Further investigation revealed Baptista had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.

He faces additional charges for a December 2 break-in.

Baptista will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
