Multiple arrests made by Rhode Island troopers, including weapons and domestic violations

WEST WARWICK — Troopers at the Hope Valley Barracks have had a busy weekend with multiple arrests, including charges ranging from prohibited weapons possession to domestic violation orders and drug possession.

On Friday, Dec. 6, at 11:03 a.m., Trevor J. Galovich, 19, of Manchester, Connecticut, was arrested on charges of carrying prohibited weapons and disorderly conduct after Troopers were called to a disturbance at the Exeter Job Corps.

Galovich was taken to the barracks, processed, arraigned, and released with a scheduled court date at the Fourth District Court.

Less than 30 minutes later, at 11:30 a.m., Jason Manchester, 49, of West Warwick, Rhode Island, was arrested on a warrant for three counts of violating a no-contact order, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, and failing to stop after an accident resulting in personal injury.

The arrest followed a barracks investigation and subsequent location of Manchester by the Westerly Police Department.

He was processed at the barracks, arraigned, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.

That evening, at 9:11 p.m., Jacklyn M.

Moore, 36, of Exeter, Rhode Island, was arrested on a Family Court bench warrant for a non-criminal charge related to a reciprocal body attachment.

Moore’s arrest was the outcome of Troopers responding to another disturbance at her residence.

She was taken to the barracks for processing and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake Center.

The arrests continued into the early hours of Saturday, Dec. 7, when at 2:27 a.m., Somsack Sithong, 43, of West Warwick, Rhode Island, was apprehended on a warrant for possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance (amphetamine).

Sithong was stopped on New London Avenue in West Warwick, processed at the barracks, and handed over to the local police department.
