FERRISBURGH — A pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle in the parking lot of Kinney Drugs on Nov. 27 at approximately 1:50 p.m.
Richard Memoli, 67, from Middlebury was injured when he was struck by the vehicle.
He managed to leave the scene but was later taken to UVM Medical Center, where he is being treated for moderate injuries.
Vermont State Police were not immediately notified following the incident.
Authorities are now reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information regarding the vehicle or its operator is encouraged to contact the New Haven Barracks of the Vermont State Police.
