Two arrested in Claremont on fentanyl sales charges

CLAREMONT — Following a thorough investigation by the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit (NIU), two Claremont residents were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the sale of fentanyl.

Bradley Leblanc, 37, and Chasity Forman, 48, were arrested on Friday after authorities concluded a monthslong probe into the illegal drug trade.

Leblanc faces three counts of sale of a controlled drug (subsequent offense) and one count of conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug (subsequent offense).

Forman has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug (subsequent offense).

The arrests yielded a significant seizure of drugs, including more than 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, approximately 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and 13 assorted suspected narcotics pills.

The operation was supported by the Claremont Police Department and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force (DTF).

The Sullivan County Attorney’s Office is responsible for prosecuting the case.

Leblanc and Forman were booked at the Claremont Police Department and later released on personal recognizance bail.

They are scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 13 in Claremont District Court.

Authorities continue to seek information from the public to aid the ongoing investigation.
