Rutland woman arrested for domestic assault, violating release conditions

FERRISBURGH — Vermont State Police arrested a Rutland woman following a physical altercation with a domestic partner on May 12.

Troopers from the New Haven barracks responded to the incident, which occurred in a camper in Ferrisburgh.

Ryane Sarra-Joyce, 29, allegedly caused bodily harm to the partner and breached her court-ordered conditions of release.

Sarra-Joyce was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven Barracks.

Following a court order, she was released with a citation and new conditions.

She is scheduled to appear at the Middlebury Court – Criminal Division on May 13 at 12:30 p.m.
