Rockland drug bust leads to two arrests

ROCKLAND — Two Rockland residents were arrested on felony drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was executed at a local apartment, police said Tuesday.

Rocki Prophet, 43, and Jacob Philip, 32, were taken into custody on April 12 following a joint operation involving Rockland Police, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Authorities raided an apartment at 50 Summer Street, where they discovered drugs and evidence of drug trafficking activity.

Prophet, who was already on bail for a previous felony drug charge, faces additional charges of Felony Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Philip has been charged with Felony Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs.
