LYNDON — A vehicle veered off the road and damaged a fence in Lyndon early Saturday morning, with authorities now seeking information on the driver involved.

The Vermont State Police Dispatch was alerted to the incident at approximately 3:49 p.m. on Nov. 30, following a crash that occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Back Center Road near Ferrett Run.

According to the VSP, an unknown vehicle, while navigating a corner, drove off the east side of the road and struck a fence, causing minor damage to the front driver’s side of the vehicle.

The operator did not stop to report the crash and continued on.

The weather conditions were cloudy with slick blacktop roads at the time of the incident, which may have been a contributing factor.

Trooper Rodzel is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver to contact him at 802-222-4680.
