Two men arrested by Rhode Island police for forgery in separate incidents

HOPKINTON — Two Connecticut men were arrested on charges of forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates following separate traffic stops on Route 95 on Saturday.

At 10:45 a.m., Rhode Island State Troopers apprehended Steven Bossie, 61, of North Stonington, Connecticut, after pulling him over in the Town of Hopkinton.

Bossie was taken to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.

Following his arraignment by a Justice of the Peace, he was released and given a future court date in the Fourth District Court.

Later that day, at 2:54 p.m., Emilson Soto Rodesno, 31, from Clinton, Connecticut, was also stopped by troopers in the Town of West Greenwich.

He was charged with the same offense as Bossie.

Rodesno was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he too was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

He was released with a date to appear in the Third District Court.
