ARLINGTON — A man was admitted to Arlington Rescue with a gunshot wound to the hand in an isolated incident, state police reported Saturday.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, arrived at the Arlington Rescue Squad building earlier in the day and was later transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
The injury sustained is reported as non-life-threatening.
Vermont State Police were notified of the incident around 8 p.m. Friday and have begun an investigation.
Authorities have not released further details about the shooting but emphasized that there is no ongoing risk to the community.
