RICHMOND — Richmond police are investigating a grand larceny case after a black 2020 Ford Explorer was reported stolen from a residence on Huntington Road overnight on Nov. 29.
The vehicle theft is believed to have occurred around midnight, according to the Hinesburg Police Department, which received a notification about the stolen vehicle the following morning.
The owner was actively tracking the car’s location, which led police to 121 Shea Drive in Colchester.
With assistance from the Colchester Police Department, officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle at the provided address.
No suspects have been named, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities are reaching out to the community for assistance.
Residents with camera footage from security systems like ring doorbells or home surveillance cameras around Huntington Road are urged to review their recordings for any suspicious activity.
