Police seek suspect in armed robbery at Barton gas station

BARTON — Vermont State Police are searching for a masked man who robbed a Circle K gas station at gunpoint late Thursday night.

The suspect entered the Main Street store around 10:56 p.m., brandishing a firearm and demanding money from an employee.

He fled on foot eastward near Lincoln Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described the suspect as a white male with a mustache, wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing. No injuries were reported.
