WALLINGFORD — A 71-year-old local man was cited for unlawful trespass after entering property where he had previously been warned to stay away, Vermont State Police reported.

David Eves, of Wallingford, allegedly trespassed on land belonging to 35-year-old Amanda Minter on Nov. 27 at around 12:21 p.m. Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a complaint of a threatening nature at Green Hill Lane.

After an investigation, authorities concluded that Eves had defied a notice of trespass by entering or remaining on Minter’s property without permission.

Eves is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division on Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. to answer to the charge.
