BOSTON — Three individuals were taken into custody Tuesday following an armed robbery in the Back Bay area, Boston Police Department reported.

At approximately 2:01 p.m. on Nov. 26, officers from District D-4 arrested Marcus Sharpe, 19, of Boston, Robert Johnson, 20, of Brockton, and Jayden Depina-Romao, 18, of Dorchester, after they allegedly robbed a man on Boylston Street near Dartmouth Street.

The victim, an Uber Eats driver, was alerted by a friend that his moped was being stolen.

Confronting the suspects, he faced one wielding a knife and another brandishing a pink taser.

During the altercation, one suspect absconded with the moped, driving the wrong way down Boylston Street.

The victim and his friend escaped to the Copley Train Station, pursued by the three remaining suspects.

The assailants, one of whom threatened the victims with the taser, then boarded an MBTA bus outside the Copley Library.

Transit Police intercepted the bus and apprehended the suspects.

A knife and taser were recovered from the bus floor.

The three were arrested and charged with armed robbery.

Sharpe received an additional charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Depina-Romao was found to have an outstanding warrant for threatening to commit a crime from the Chelsea District Court.

The suspects are scheduled for arraignment at the Boston Municipal Court.
