BOSTON — In a significant drug bust, members of the City-Wide Drug Control Unit and Drug Control Unit of District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Wilbil Aguasviva-Peguero, 28, of Dorchester, at about 8:59 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, for drug trafficking charges.
The arrest followed an ongoing drug investigation that led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence on 2 Dudley Terrace in the Dorchester neighborhood.
During the search, officers uncovered approximately 72 grams of fentanyl, 2 grams of crack-cocaine, seven rounds of 9mm ammunition, and around $5,761 in U.S. currency.
Additionally, multiple scales and various drug packaging materials were seized from the location.
Aguasviva-Peguero now faces charges including Trafficking of Class A substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B substance, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
He is expected to be arraigned at Roxbury District Court.
The substantial quantity of fentanyl recovered highlights ongoing efforts by Boston police to combat the opioid crisis and remove dangerous drugs from the community.
