Newfields police seek help to catch porch pirate after package dump

NEWFIELDS — Authorities are urging the public to assist in identifying a suspect involved in a series of package thefts after several discarded Amazon packages were found early Wednesday morning.

On Nov. 27 at 6:24 a.m., an unidentified individual was caught on video disposing of numerous packages in a trash bin.

The parcels had been addressed to residents in Newmarket, Epping, Brentwood, and Danville.

Officials believe the suspect stole the packages from these locations, plundered the contents, and then discarded the empty boxes.

The Newfields Police Department is collaborating with the Newmarket, Epping, Brentwood, and Danville police departments to investigate the thefts.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the suspect seen in the video is encouraged to contact the Newfields Police at 603-772-9010.

Authorities are hopeful that community assistance will lead to a swift resolution of the case.
