MORGAN — Vermont State Police are searching for Mark Marsden, 61, of Derby, who is wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle case and other charges.

Police say they were notified back in October that a 1994 Mazda Miata had been stolen from an 80-year-old Morgan resident’s home on Hatton Heights in the days prior. The vehicle was tracked to Connecticut and later located in New York.

Investigators identified Marsden as the suspect. He was already wanted on two other arrest warrants and is alleged to be violating court-ordered conditions of release by not staying at his curfewed address in Derby for several months.

Marsden was previously arrested in July for allegedly burglarizing Hoagie’s Expressway in Derby, where he was accused of stealing $300 in cash and cigarettes, causing approximately $1,500 in damage.

In that case, he was charged with burglary, unlawful mischief, and violation of conditions of release.
