ROCKLAND — In a significant bust, Rockland Police officers conducting proactive traffic enforcement in areas known for suspected drug activity, pulled over a vehicle on Nov. 24 for having falsely attached registration plates.
During the traffic stop, officers obtained probable cause to search the vehicle.
The search yielded roughly 15 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of crack cocaine, 4 grams of xylazine, and around 150 Oxycontin pills.
Additionally, police seized about $4,200 in suspected drug proceeds.
Authorities also recovered two handguns and one loaded AR-15 style rifle from the vehicle.
Jason Winslow, 51, of Rockport, faces multiple charges including Attaching False Plates, Having a Loaded Rifle in a Vehicle, and Felony Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs.
Police indicated that further charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
