HARTLAND — A New Hampshire woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 on Nov. 23, after her car hit rocks in the median and bounced back onto the highway, Vermont State Police said.
Ellissa Coburn, 32, of Claremont, lost control of her 2004 Honda Accord around 2:27 p.m. near mile marker 67.2 amid rainy conditions that left the roadway wet, authorities reported.
Coburn’s vehicle was totaled after crashing into the median and rebounding onto the interstate, according to the police.
She suffered a deep laceration to her left wrist.
Emergency Medical Services applied a tourniquet at the scene, and Coburn was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks of the Vermont State Police responded to the accident, with assistance from the Windsor Police Department and the Hartford Fire Department.
The police have not disclosed whether Coburn was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
