Groton police seek help in hit-and-run investigation

GROTON — The Groton Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance regarding a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Nov. 16 at approximately 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Route 184 and Route 117.

An orange sedan was struck on the rear passenger’s side door by a suspect vehicle, described as a black or dark blue sedan.

Following the collision, the suspect’s vehicle reportedly fled the scene heading westbound on Route 184.

The vehicle in question is expected to have sustained front-end damage from the impact.

Officials mentioned that the surveillance video obtained from a nearby business was not close enough to provide detailed information about the suspect vehicle or its driver.

The Groton Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact Officer Faulise at 860-441-6712.
