NASHUA — A single-vehicle crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike has resulted in the death of a driver early this morning, Nov. 24.

New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop B were called to the scene at 1:12 a.m. after a passerby reported the accident on the northbound side of the turnpike near Exit 8.

The driver, Christopher Duval, 44, from Merrimack, was traveling in a 2019 Kia Sorento when he lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently veered across multiple lanes and collided with the center median barrier.

Duval, the vehicle’s only occupant, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the site of the collision.

Nashua Police Department officers and Nashua Fire Department personnel provided assistance to the State Police during the response.

The investigation into the crash caused the closure of the left two lanes just north of Exit 8 for around two hours as emergency crews worked at the scene.

State Police are continuing to investigate all factors contributing to the incident.
