CHARLTON — Shortly before 6 a.m. today, the Charlton Police Department responded to a call about a critical incident at 53 Sturbridge Road.
Upon investigation, law enforcement officials found no evidence of the reported event.
The Charlton Police, alongside their law enforcement partners, thoroughly examined the premises and surrounding area but concluded that the alleged incident did not take place.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the origin and nature of the report.
