BELLOWS FALLS — A coordinated effort by local and county law enforcement led to the arrest of three individuals on felony drug and weapons charges on Nov. 22.
Officers from the Bellows Falls Police Department, supported by deputies from the Windham County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Chester Police Department, executed a search warrant at 168B Westminster St. at around 8:09 p.m.
The operation followed months of investigations into suspected drug activity at the location.
During the raid, authorities discovered a felony amount of crack cocaine, other suspected narcotics, and two modified Glock handguns equipped with high-capacity magazines.
Arrested at the scene were Jesi Wilkins, 54, of Bellows Falls, along with Desmond Pertillar and Isiah Irizarry, both 19 and from Connecticut.
The charges against Wilkins include felony possession of cocaine.
Pertillar and Irizarry face additional charges, including possession of a firearm or dangerous weapon in the commission of a felony and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device.
Following processing at the Bellows Falls Police Department, Wilkins, Pertillar, and Irizarry were issued citations to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on Nov. 25 at 12:30 p.m. Pertillar and Irizarry were held on $5,000 cash or surety bail.
The investigation remains active, with potential for further charges as it progresses.
The Bellows Falls Police Department expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the Windham County Sheriff’s Office, Chester Police Department, and the Vermont State Police in the ongoing campaign to curb drug activity in the area.
