Woman charged with DUI after Hartland crash

HARTLAND — A New Hampshire woman was charged with driving under the influence following a single-vehicle accident on Route 12 on Nov. 22.

Vermont State Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 3:43 p.m. where they discovered a car had crashed.

The driver, identified as 43-year-old Margaret Farley of Claremont, New Hampshire, was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of intoxicants.

Farley sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for medical treatment.

She has been issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Court on DUI charges.

Further details about the crash are currently under investigation.
