Man arrested for aggravated domestic assault, interference with emergency services in Eden

EDEN — Vermont State Police arrested a 42-year-old man late Friday night on charges of second-degree aggravated domestic assault and interference with access to emergency services following an incident at a residence on Camp Road.

Authorities responded to the domestic disturbance call at approximately 11:23 p.m. on Nov. 22, where they determined James Philip of Eden had allegedly caused physical harm to a domestic partner and hindered their ability to contact emergency personnel.

Philip was apprehended and processed at the Williston Barracks without resistance.

Following a court order, he is scheduled to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on Nov. 25 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.

He is currently held on $2,500 bail.
