Bradford man arrested on aggravated assault warrant

BRADFORD — Vermont State Police from the St. Johnsbury barracks arrested a 56-year-old Bradford man on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault late Friday night.

At approximately 9:10 p.m. on Nov. 21, troopers responded to a report of suspicious activity at the East Corinth General Store.

During the investigation, officers identified the individual involved as Steven Gaboury, who was wanted on a warrant.

Following the identification, police located Gaboury on Goshen Road and took him into custody without incident.

He was processed at the St. Johnsbury barracks and later lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex with bail set at $10,000.

The Vermont State Police has not released any information regarding the victim in compliance with policies protecting individuals involved in sexual assault or domestic violence cases.
