WORCESTER — A man was pronounced dead at the hospital following a shooting on Brookside Ave, Worcester Police Department officials reported.
The incident occurred on Nov. 21 at approximately 6:21 p.m. Worcester police officers were dispatched to the scene after reports of possible gunshots.
Upon entering the apartment, officers found a male and female victim, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
While officers administered medical aid, the female victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male victim, with serious injuries, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Detectives have since arrived to conduct a follow-up investigation into the shooting.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
