HOLYOKE — Authorities announced Saturday the arrest of a 34-year-old man wanted for armed robbery following a joint operation between the Holyoke Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau and the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section.
Joseph Albelo was taken into custody without incident.
The police had been seeking Albelo in connection with an armed robbery, though details about the specific incident leading to his arrest warrant were not immediately released.
