HOLYOKE — After concluding an investigation into heroin and fentanyl distribution, authorities from the Holyoke Police Narcotics unit, alongside the Chicopee Police and Western Mass FBI Gang Task Force, executed a search warrant today at 170 Hampshire Street, resulting in the discovery of a significant quantity of heroin/fentanyl.
Yashira Perez, 31, and Jarileemari Opio Bonilla, 23, were taken into custody and have been charged with possession of a Class A drug and possession with intent to distribute.
The successful operation was the culmination of a collaborative effort between various law enforcement agencies.
The Holyoke Police Department expressed gratitude to their local partners for their ongoing cooperation in addressing drug-related crimes within the community.
