Braintree police investigate overnight shots fired near Eaton’s Pond

BRAINTREE — Officers from the Braintree Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Eaton’s Pond around 3 a.m. on Nov. 21, following a series of emergency calls from Skyline Drive residents.

Upon arrival, police found ballistic evidence near the pond and adjacent woodlands but did not locate any suspects or victims.

Interviews with locals indicated that shortly after the shots were heard, witnesses observed up to three individuals, dressed in black and believed to be juveniles, fleeing the scene along Skyline Drive.

As of now, no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
