MANCHESTER — Manchester Police are investigating a series of burglaries at the Parkside Convenience Store on Hooksett Road after two incidents occurred within days of each other.
The first break-in at the store at 675 Hooksett Rd. was reported on Nov. 7, when officers arrived at the scene around 8:45 a.m. The owner reported that the store had been vandalized, with two windows and a door sustaining damage.
Surveillance footage showed a male suspect entering the store at approximately 1:30 a.m.
The thief made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes, and scratch tickets.
Four days later, on Nov. 11, authorities were called back to the store.
The plywood board covering one of the previously damaged windows was found on the ground.
Video evidence from around 2 a.m. shows an individual prying off the board, entering the store, and filling a bag with cash and cigarettes.
In this second incident, the suspect concealed their identity by wearing a hood.
Detectives believe the two burglaries are related and are appealing to the public for assistance.
