FAYSTON — A local man faces charges related to drug possession and violating conditions of his release, Vermont State Police said.
Joseph Heim, 48, was arrested Nov. 18 after an investigation into a complaint received on Oct. 6.
Authorities allege that Heim committed five counts of violating release conditions and was found in possession of methamphetamine.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks, who received the initial complaint at 11:09 a.m. on Oct. 24, conducted the investigation leading to Heim’s arrest.
Heim was processed at the Berlin Barracks and subsequently lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex on $2,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court-Criminal Division on Nov. 19 at 12:30 p.m.
