Boston police seek help identifying suspects in East Boston larceny scheme

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District A-7 are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals linked to a larceny by scheme incident that took place around 11:50 a.m. on Nov. 8, in the vicinity of 150 Meridian Street in East Boston.

The first suspect is described as a male, roughly 5 feet tall, aged between 35-38, clad in a sweater and a green hat.

The second suspect is a white/Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, aged between 48-49, wearing a black winter hat, black sunglasses, a white shirt adorned with black stripes, and blue pants.

According to the report, the suspects approached the victim, exposed them to an unidentified substance, and then coerced the victim into withdrawing money from a nearby bank.

The Boston Police Department is diligently reviewing the facts and circumstances of the incident.
