Waterford police seek help identifying suspect in Wal-Mart theft

WATERFORD — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise from a local Wal-Mart.

According to the Waterford Police Department, the incident occurred on Nov. 14, when a male subject entered the store around 7:25 p.m. He reportedly filled a shopping cart with various items and left the store without paying.

The total loss was valued at $1,138.93.

Officer McComic of the Waterford Police is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to come forward.
