SOUTH WINDSOR — A local man was arrested by South Windsor Police Department on charges related to a high-speed motorcycle pursuit and traffic violations from an incident earlier this year.

Michael A. Dolnick, 24, of Enfield, was taken into custody on Saturday, Nov. 16, after officers executed an arrest warrant stemming from an Aug. 31 incident where he was allegedly involved in erratic driving, including performing wheelies and burnouts, passing traffic dangerously, and running red lights on Sullivan Avenue.

The pursuit began when two South Windsor officers attempted to stop Dolnick and another unidentified motorcyclist.

The riders evaded the police, reaching high speeds before escaping.

Dolnick was later identified through cooperation with neighboring jurisdictions and evidence from his Instagram account that showed similar reckless behavior.

Dolnick turned himself in, was processed, and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.

In separate incidents, South Windsor Police also reported the arrest of Brad G.

Phillips, 23, of South Windsor, on charges of disorderly conduct and multiple counts of violating a protective order and second-degree unlawful restraint following a domestic violence case on Nov. 16.

Phillips was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and is set to appear in court this morning.

Additionally, Taesook Whang, 57, also of South Windsor, was arrested in the early hours of Nov. 17 for allegedly striking a victim multiple times in the head during a domestic violence dispute.

Whang was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is similarly slated to appear in court this morning.
