Sheldon man arrested on suspicion of DUI after crash

SHELDON — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on suspicion of DUI following a single-vehicle accident on Central St. at approximately 1:23 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Authorities identified the driver as 24-year-old Miguel Snyder of Sheldon, who was operating a 2007 Chrysler Aspen when he drove off the road.

The vehicle sustained minor damage, and Snyder reported non-life-threatening injuries.

He did not require hospitalization.

Troopers arriving at the scene conducted an investigation, which led to Snyder’s arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Snyder was taken to the St. Albans Barracks for processing and was later released with a scheduled arraignment date of Nov. 26 at 10 a.m.
