Woman fatally stabbed at Boston’s Ramsey Park

BOSTON — A woman was fatally stabbed Saturday afternoon at Ramsey Park in Boston, prompting an ongoing investigation by the city’s homicide unit, authorities said.

At 12:48 p.m., officers from District D-4, which covers the South End and Back Bay areas, responded to a call at the park located at 1917 Washington St. They found an adult female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Boston Emergency Medical Services provided immediate aid and transported her to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead at 11:40 p.m.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances of the incident.
