Claremont police seek help in hit-and-run case

CLAREMONT — The Claremont Police Department is requesting the public’s help to find a truck involved in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Charlestown Road and Maple Avenue.

The collision occurred on Nov. 15 at about 5:20 p.m., when a white or silver truck backed into another vehicle, causing considerable damage and triggering the airbags.

The truck then sped away, traveling south on Charlestown Road.

Authorities are on the lookout for the suspect vehicle, which is described as white or silver and likely has rear-end damage from the impact.

Detective Bell is encouraging anyone who witnessed the crash, possesses dashcam footage, or has any information regarding the truck or its driver to contact him at 603-542-9538.
